There is an invisible yet profoundly real line that runs through Our Land. A red line.
Behind every bottle there is not only a vineyard, but a way of living and working together. We believes that wine is a bridge between generations: it preserves memory, expresses identity and creates new connections. The same red line that runs through our history links the people, the soil, the vines and the ancient cultures that once lived on this land.
Here, where fragments and memories from over 6,000 years ago resurface, the land still speaks. And it does so through new forms, new hands, new fruits. Our vineyards grow on the same hills once inhabited by women and men who could turn clay into symbol and harvest into ritual. Today, we transform grapes into wine with that same respect, with the same will to transmit an essence, not just a flavour.
In this winery, the verticality of time meets the depth of roots. Each bottle is born from soil that holds artefacts and roots, forms and ferment, earth and memory. Our wine is authentic and traditional, because it does not seek to imitate. It is, like that which emerges when we dig deep, unique.
Through this red line, visual, cultural, vital, flows our identity. It carries who we are: the living fruit of a distant past that continues to ferment within us.
The Vision
Vera Winery was born from the shared vision of Vera and Alexander, a vision shaped by a deep connection to the land, respect for Moldovan winemaking traditions, and the ambition to create wines with a distinctive contemporary identity.
Together, they have transformed their passion into a winery where authenticity and evolution coexist. The vineyards, the rhythms of the seasons, and the character of each grape remain at the heart of their work, while curiosity, attention to detail, and a constant search for quality guide every decision.
For Vera and Alexander, wine is more than the final expression of a harvest. It is a way of interpreting a place, preserving its memory, and giving it a voice.
Their vision continues to shape Vera Winery today: deeply rooted in Moldova, yet always looking forward.
